While exploring the vast series of tubes known as “The Internets,” one may come across some useful shit. These are the my favourite findings from my travels.
Things I Want
Asus G51Vx [Laptop]
My current laptop is a paperweight-weight (keeps paperweights down in case of strong wind) and ancient so I need a new one that will last and help me with my contract jobs. So I gotta dish out some dough for something crazy like this. You can't go wrong with Asus. Update: Has been ordered from NCIX! $2,089CAD after shipping/RMA insurance/GST. My wallet hurts. :( Update: I GOT IT! My wallet still hurts.
Portable Power Mat [Gadget]
Wirelessly charges up to 3 Powermat-enabled devices simultaneously (plus one USB power port). Folds for ultra-compact storage. Works with all Powermat receivers. Universal Powercube with 8 tips is included to enable you to charge hundreds of devices.

Entertainment
Ninja Video.net [Video Streaming]
This site is getting more hits from me than EZTV. Basically, instead of a torrent site like EZTV, Ninja Video steams the DIVX shows and movies right to your computer at high speeds (no buffering issues!). You can even save the episode after it fully loads. Make sure you run the "helper" applet or the high quality/no limit versions of the steams won't work.
Lose/Lose [Game]
Lose/Lose is a video-game with real life consequences. Each alien in the game is created based on a random file on the players computer. If the player kills the alien, the file it is based on is deleted. If the players ship is destroyed, the application itself is deleted.
